The Buffalo Trails Multisport Races are held each Memorial Day weekend and include three events. The Duathlon — a 2.45 mile run, 25 mile bike, followed by a 3.1 mile run; The Triathlon is a 0.5 mile swim, 25 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run; The Sprint Triathlon is a 0.3 mile swim, 12 mile bike and 1.5 mile run.
The course winds it way through downtown Maysville as well as western Mason County producing a challenging, scenic course.

First Friday in December in downtown Maysville. Spectacular floats, marching bands and Santa make this event a family favorite. Parade begins at 6 p.m. on East Second Street at Bridge Street. It proceeds west on Second Street, to Wall Street, north to Third Street, and back east to Bridge Street.
