The Maysville Community & Restorative Justice meeting has been re-scheduled to 2 p.m. at Mason County Public Library.
The meeting will focus on training and preliminary planning.
Restorative justice is a community-based process that includes the victim and other community members in order to repair harm and rebuild relationships. It is generally used in addition to the traditional justice system with juvenile or first-time offenders. The goal is to make the offender a part of the community and prevent future criminal behavior.
All Maysville residents are invited.
