Maysville Community and Technical College is a two year college that has been serving the region since 1968.

As part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, MCTC provides education and training close to where people live and work.

MCTC offers the region’s residents the opportunity to complete certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs by:
• Providing day, evening, online and ITV classes.
• Preparing students for transfer to a four year institution.

Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC) is one of 16 two-year colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS).

Founded in 1968 and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), our goal is to prepare students for successful transfer to Kentucky four-year colleges or for immediate entrance into fulfilling careers.

Strong leadership is crucial to the development, expansion, and visionary growth of Maysville Community and Technical College.

Much growth is taking place under President Ed Story. Dr. Story is serving in his third decade with MCTC bringing with him experience as faculty, chief academic officer, and now as president.

He declares “students first” in every initiative that the college advocates.

President Story is steered by a College Leadership Team that monitors all areas of the college.

This team assists in setting the tone and fulfilling the mission to the college community. MCTC’s strength lives in the dedication and diversity of its employees.
