Guidelines & Policies
Decorations: Decorating is permitted, subject to management’s approval. No balloons, glitter, confetti, sparkles, silly string, rice, birdseed, bubbles or tinsel of any type is allowed as a decoration. We ask that nothing be taped, wired, screwed, or otherwise secured to our walls or doors. Candles must be self-contained the candles cannot be higher than the container.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be in writing and received 30 business days before the scheduled event to avoid paying the full price for rented space.
Deposits: A deposit of 50% is due two weeks after booking the event unless other arrangements are made with the MCC Manager. All deposits are non-refundable and are applied directly to your outstanding balance. Payment may be made in the form of a check, money order or cash. Any outstanding balance remaining must be paid by the date of the event.
Time limits: The contracted day starts at 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m./midnight. All equipment, guests and decorations must be removed from the facility that evening.
Pre-Set Up: If the room is available one day prior to your event, a $150 fee will be incurred for pre-set up.
Security Deposit: A security deposit of $150 is required. The security deposit will be returned within two weeks after the event less the cost of any damages or repairs.
Supervision: For safety purposes children invited to your affair must be supervised at all times.
Smoking: Is not allowed inside our facility.
Food and Beverage: MCC does not allow any food or beverage to be brought in from the outside due to city, state, health and liquor laws. Food and beverage services will be provided by MCC designated caterers licensed with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the City of Maysville.
Alcohol: No alcoholic beverages may be brought in to the building. Events requiring alcoholic beverages must contact the MCC designated caterers for these services. If alcohol is brought into the facility, it will be confiscated and the individuals(s) will be escorted out of the building immediately. If it becomes a problem the MCC Manager reserves the right to stop the event.
