New Fees & Policies Set for Rec Park Shelters in 2020

Maysville-Mason County Recreation Park Committee set new fees and policies for shelter reservations in 2020.

For shelters being reserved in 2020, fees must be paid at the time the reservation is made. Credit cards can be used for phone reservations at 606-564-9419. Reservations can also be made in person with cash, check, or credit card at at Maysville Municipal Building, 216 Bridge St. (above the utility office). Reservations and payments may be made 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Shelter fees for 2020 are:

  • Browning Shelter $80/day
  • RECC Shelter $60/day
  • DeKalb Shelter $60/day
  • Lake Shelter $60/day

Shelter fees apply only on Saturdays and Sundays, May through October. There are no charges on weekdays.

The Palmer Smart Shelter and the gazebo by the tennis courts are free and first come, first serve any day of the week.

There will be no reimbursements of fees on cancelled reservations, and no credits held from one year to the next. If cancelled more than 30 days prior to reservation, another date can be reserved. There are no credits or reimbursements for “rain days.”
